Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well. It amazes me how helpful and organized our desktop can be. Also, how important is it to know how to run all of your apps and where they're located at. I love organizing my apps and files, especially for work. I think it's cool that Windows 10 has its very own apps installed. I would definitely be lost without it.
Yes, organizing one's desktop is a good habit :-)
ReplyDeleteI should get back into that habit!
Expanding on that thought, one should also clean up and organize one's folders, especially the Downloads folder ^_^
Having an organized desktop will help your work life and student schedule be more balanced.
ReplyDeleteAn organized desktop is so much easier to manage when it is clutter free. I've seen desktops that have about a hundred icons and folders. It is so confusing and frustrating to have to try to look through everything to find the file or icon you need. Organization is part of effective functionality and helps manage everything better.
ReplyDeleteI try not to put a bunch of things on my desktop. I've seen my bosses screen and the whole screen was filled up with icons I told myself i would not get like that.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep my desktop absolutely clean of anything.
ReplyDeleteAn organized desktop makes things look nice and easy to manage.
ReplyDeleteYes, I learned the hard way! My old iMac is such a mess and needs to be cleaned up. My files are scattered everywhere. I will never let that happen again.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more. I use files for everything and keep them organized.
ReplyDeleteI think this section gave me the drive to reorganize my desktop.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I pay no attention to the desktop. I like to keep it clear of anything. However, I do like to keep my files, folders, applications, etc. organized - especially with naming them!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree! I love reorganizing my desktop. Keeping my files all nice and neat is my way to relieve stress. A cluttered life and a messy mind do not mix.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't like a lot of clutter on my desktop. I prefer to pin my most used apps to the task bar and only keep a handful of shortcuts to apps on my desktop. For any folders that I use regularly, I pin to the Quick Access section in File Explorer. This way I don't need file shortcuts on my desktop.
ReplyDeleteI entirely agree with you. Especially when we learned the shortcut from Professor Wu and found the original file location, which improved our office efficiency!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I love organizing my desktop
ReplyDeleteI can also see myself spending more time organizing my setup.
ReplyDeleteI agree that depending on where they are located or who I link them with, I will be able to access applications more quickly.
ReplyDeleteI tend to organize my desktop into 4 Folders, Games, Browsers, Files, and Misc. It helps keep my background not messy and hard to see.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy an organized desktop; I think it's easier to locate files, programs, and it looks better.
